Seed pod bird

Description

Seed pod bird collection made with a deep understanding of Africa’s vibrant bird life. The Blue Crane (South Africa’s national bird), Helmeted Guineafowl and Hoopoe are created by Khulisani, an art major from Zimbabwe. Khulisani uses Star Chestnut seed pod from Zimbabwe, river clay from Soweto township and wire to mould and create unique bird art. Each piece is different as their counterparts are in the wild. The birds have wire legs ensuring they are stable and will stand on any flat surface.
