A collection of needle felt animal made entirely by hand in the rural village of Wesley, South Africa. The craft of needle felting with wool was initially taught to a group of 10 ladies. The aim of the project was to generate hope in a community lacking opportunity or income generating activities. Over time, and as the crafters developed their skill the product range has expanded. Relying purely on discarded wool from local sheep farmers, the wool is washed and combed before being felted. The Needle felt animal delight both adult and children.
