Traditional Indigo cloth handwoven in the Ivory Coast, West Africa. Each cloth is unique in design and construction. Narrow strips of cloth are sewn together to form a structured cotton cloth. The indigo cloth is woven using naturally dyed indigo and white cotton with a fine orange embroidered detail. The indigo dye is derived from the red and purple flowers of the Indigo Plant. The 100% cotton Indigo cloth may be used as a throw, towel, table cloth or kikoy.
NOTE prewash your cloth to ensure excess dye is removed from the towel before use. The indigo color of the towel will run on the first few washing cycles.
