Indigo cloth is handwoven in Ivory Coast, West Africa. Narrow strips of cotton cloth are woven on a loom before being sewn together to form a larger cloth. Each piece of cloth is as unique in design and construction as its heritage. The vintage cloth tell the story of the weaver and its use over time. Indigo cloth has been used as an integral part of daily life in West Africa for generations. Indigo cloth have endless uses and may be used as a towel, bed throw, sarong or table cloth. The vintage cloth may even be placed on the wall or a single piece may be used to make numerous scatter cushion.
CARE | Delicate machine wash, do not bleach, dry clean or tumble dry. Use a warm iron on the reverse side of the cloth.
